How to Use AI to Plan a Full Office Wall Decal Branding Revamp

Whether you’re launching a new location, rebranding your office, or creating a consistent look across multiple rooms, wall decals are an easy and powerful way to bring your brand to life and AI is a great tool to help you.

This guide shows you how to use AI to plan (like ChatGPT and Canva) to map out your entire office space—from room-by-room messaging to measurements and design ideas. The final product? A simple PDF plan you can send to us for quoting and production.

If you’re only working on one space, check out our tutorial on Using AI to Plan a Wall Decal for a Single Room.

Step 1: Map Out Your Space

Start by creating a list of all the rooms or walls you want to brand.

Common Areas:

  • Entryway or lobby
  • Conference rooms
  • Private offices
  • Hallways
  • Breakroom or kitchen
  • Restrooms
  • Storage or flex spaces

Measure each wall you’re considering for a decal:

  • Wall width × height (in feet)
  • Note obstacles like windows, outlets, or TVs
  • Take photos if possible (a quick phone pic works great)

Step 2: Define the Vibe and Messaging Style

Use an Open AI to plan the overall tone for your space. Then break it down room by room. You don’t need a custom quote on every wall—some may just feature your logo, a core value, or a subtle design.

Prompt Examples:

“Help me define a consistent visual branding tone for a modern marketing agency office: clean, bold, creative, and team-oriented.”

“Now give me room-by-room suggestions for what each space could display—whether that’s a quote, value, logo, or visual icon.”

Some rooms might be:

  • All text (mission statement, quote, value)
  • All visual (just your logo or icon pattern)
  • A combination of both

Step 3: Brainstorm Messaging and Design Direction per Room

Now you can use AI to get ideas for phrasing or layout that fits each space. Here’s how to approach it:

Entry / Lobby Wall

Sometimes your logo alone is enough—especially at first impression points. You can also include your tagline or a short welcome.

Example Prompt:

“What are some clean layout ideas for displaying a company logo and tagline as a wall decal in a reception area?”

Conference or Meeting Room Wall

Use this space to inspire collaboration or reinforce company values.

Example Prompt:

“Give me a few large-format phrases that promote teamwork and innovation for a conference room wall.”

Breakroom Wall

Here’s where your tone can be fun, casual, or uplifting.

Example Prompt:

“Suggest friendly, short phrases that would make employees smile in the breakroom—keep it light and positive.”

Repeat this process for any rooms you want to brand individually. For more help creating a decal for just one space, see our full AI + Wall Decal tutorial.

Step 4: Create a Visual Mockup of Your Office Plan

Use a tool like Canva, Google Slides, or PowerPoint to create a room-by-room breakdown. Here is a template if you need help getting started.

Each page or slide should include:

  • Room or wall name (example: “Hallway A – 12 ft x 8 ft”)
  • What will go on that wall: logo only? phrase? graphic?
  • Size of the space
  • Style references (fonts, icons, colors)
  • Links to resources you like:
  • Fonts from www.dafont.com
  • Design elements from www.vecteezy.com
  • Screenshots or Canva mockups

Don’t worry if it’s not fancy—we just need enough to understand your vision.
