What Does “Die-Cut (No Background)” Mean?
At Wall Decal World, all of our decals are die-cut, which means your design comes with no background at all— decals come with a transfer layer, so you don’t place each piece or letter by hand. Just stick it all on, peel it off, and your design is perfectly in place – no clear backgrounds, no extra material, just clean, professional results.

What Makes Our Die-Cuts Different?
Many decal companies take the easy route: they print your design on a clear or white background or cut it into a basic shape. That means you end up with a big rectangle (or a shape with a white or clear outline) stuck to your wall.
We don’t do that. We take the extra step to precisely cut away all the excess, leaving only your design—like your logo, lettering, or artwork. The final result is clean, professional, and looks like it was painted directly on the wall. Your wall color will shine through between parts of your logo.
How Installation Works
Even though our decals are fully die-cut with no background, installation is easy. You’re not placing letters or pieces one at a time. We apply a transfer overlay across the top of your design to keep everything perfectly aligned/ This helps give you less steps during install.
You’ll apply the entire die-cut decal in one piece. After that, just smooth it onto the wall, then peel away the transfer overlay. This leaves only the design behind.
